Shelbyiris had something to say about another thing. They thought that they were currently on that thread. When you write a message on mobile, it’s impossible to see the thread without scrolling. And you can’t delete messages. So when they clicked post reply and the page reloaded, they saw that they were on the wrong thread. They immediately went to edit message to tell us that it was the wrong thread. Instead of having a blank message, so I don’t have to explain the reason behind this oh wait…
Hey! One day i want to create a mod to beamng drive using these points and meshes, what software you used to do this mod? Blender?
I do use blender, but when the mod comes out, please do not use my (or Kers’) assets to make your own mods without permission but the softwares I do use off the top of my head are: Notepad++ Nodebeam editor (jbeam visualiser) Blender Paint.net Substance Painter BeamNGs ingame debug tools and physics engine to make sure the jbeam is how I want it
Blender is the most commonly used program for 3D modeling, a text editor is used for Jbeam (the points and beams) creation. I’d love to see what you can do! Fair warning, however, making a quality mod in detail and physics is no simple process, there’s a particular reason that most quality vehicle mods, even by experienced modders, take months to complete. Just make sure you do your research, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and start simple. Make a part for an existing vehicle, not an entire vehicle. I wish you luck, and look into joining the MFD (Modding For Dummies) Discord here: https://discord.gg/k7Hy38NP
Thanks a lot man!!! Appreciate it that you liked and enjoyed my work! More of my mods are coming on, wait a bit. Of course i am going to join the Dummies discord, thanks for the help! I am going to try to do a car with blender, you cheered me up and i got more interested about it, thanks again! --- Post updated --- THANKS! Noted! I am going to try to do my mods for beamng using blender, thanks!
Will you add a race/DTM style config. It would be very cool to have a race car based on a luxury sedan.
Is there a rough estimate of when it COULD be ready, I'm not trying to rush you, just want to have a general idea. Keep up the good work.
