Looks like the rear left tinted taillight isnt projecting the light properly, also a question, what are the front foglights next to the blinkers? They used to work before but not anymore
The little foglights next to the blinkers, some work, some dont, they dont project light, just glow, just on some versions
Gotta agree that this mod is still better than all of those garbage kenemation paid mods and anything you can find on modland
I mean like how this isn’t called the Astro so a newer Polo could be called the Pool, similar to how this is the Goal
the thing is the author of this mod called this the aw goal because its a copy of a mk3, the bete is a copy of a polo mk2 so it doesnt make that much sense, could also be confusing when theres 30 aw models, all with different names
aw astro (golf 1), aw goal (golf 3) and aw bete (polo 2) are created by 3 different people, I don't know why the author of the goal didn't change the name of the mod to astro mk3 (maybe he doesn't get the copyright to the name?)
he picked goal because its a 1:1 copy of a mk3, the astro is a mix between mk1 and mk2 so he didnt want to use that name
yeah that is the 2010-2013 VW Jetta Pioneer and it is only available in China i believe --- Post updated --- did you ever download any mods from websites other than the beamng website? mods from 3rd party sites often cause game issues and problems with other vehicles even after you delete them and clear cache. i'm not sure there is any fix for this, you may have to uninstall beamng and then install it again
He said he didn’t want to change it to Astro as this was his creation and he wanted to name it the Goal.
Hey, i greatly appreciate the mod because i love the Golf 3 (have a couple ones at home) and it always annoyed me that there wasnt a good one available for BeamNG. Also i've noticed how much you upgraded already in the short period of time the mod is on the repo. However there are a couple of things that i'd like to point out, so you could (maybe) approve upon them: -The geometry at the trunk seems a bit weird (especially the taillights and rear window in combination with the trunklid. -Plastic trimpieces on the doors droop towards the ground. In reality they have more of a "shooting break" design and kind of bank upwards from front to back. This should be an easy fix but it would improve the styling by a whole lot. -The rear axle is nice but i would love to see a torsion beam axle as an option, as it was the standard Golf mk3 axle if you didnt opt for the syncro (AWD) -The roof antenna was always located in the back of the roof. Also the standard antenna was on the front left fender, prior to 1994. -The Vento front is kinda off, i think it would be greatly appreciated if it looked more like the real deal because one of the most popular OEM styling conversions on the MK3 was the Vento front on the Golf. -Speaking of fronts: The GTI/VR6/GTI TDI had a different grille where the fins where body coloured and much thicker then the standard black fins. Also there where 3 instead of 4 fins. -The side badging always was at the back. This clearly falls under artistic freedom, as it looks great at the front door but in my opinion it would also look great on the rear doors /rear fender if its a 3 door. With kind regards; Schnellmut
thanks for the feedback, i added the painted grille as an optional part, we'll see how the suspension will it work or not? the side plastics will look diffrent since the update adding new rocker panels (straight ones) trunk is this way on purpose, the rear end is kinda diffrent generally. the taillights have a white stripe all across instead of a little window for reverse light. i will add a second antenna and a third for fender.
this is the only thing i cannot really fix and i don't even know how all this works, if you have any tutorial or explained how to do this pls send it --- Post updated --- Guys, the new PIPE suspension works fixed gauges (somewhat for now) added trunk interior trim rest pics show new lights and other things
