Well im happy to anounce that i managed to add the ability to control turbo boost power. Now KITT can jump from around 2 meters high to idk 30 probably. Will be implemented in the next updates.
Been enjoying all of the Knight Rider mods quite a bit. Just out of curiosity, are there any plans to make KIFT 4000?
Hello there. Kevin and I are working on the new version, but due to our limited free time we might be a little late to release the new version. Sorry for that, the mod is definitely not abandoned, be sure about that! --- Post updated --- To be honest with all of you, we started to make a prototype KIFT 4000, but we had a few problems and no time to fix them. So we postponed the project indefinitely. No plans to reboot it, sorry for that.

Kevin doesn't have a link yet, but expect him to open one as soon as he has some free time.** *(And believe me it's A LOT, both me and Kevin have countless hours of trial and error, to present you with something new with pretty much every new update) **(To be clear, this mod was originally Kevin's idea. I'm not trying to take credit for the idea and the design etc. My part was to troubleshoot the mod, add scanner animation and make the scanner animation and scanner sound effect toggleable, I also added the ski mode, and most definitely I made KITT have turbo boost like in the series, the first version of KITT featuring turbo boost was from another collaborator of ours who was very helpful, but his version didn't stop boosting after a while, and as a result KITT was flying forever, I did many other things that I'm forgetting right now but those are the essential ones) Also if you are interested, I can do a historical breakdown of what I added over the time to the mod speaking of coding (c++ and .lua). You can certainly see my code inside the mod since every beamng and automation mod is open source like any other in-game car or prop, but I can try to explain to anyone wondering how this mod is working, in my free time.
Sorry for the Lil Bump. But is this Mod still in the Works since we didnt hear anything from u Guys the Last Months it would be really sad if this Mod would be Dead. Im Waiting for a while now since i wanna do some nice Chases with K.I.T.T Best Regards
Hello! Sorry for the bump on this thread - not sure if this is the right way to do this. My son loves this mod, but he also watches older videos with the older versions in them (around the V4 era I think, but, not entirely sure - basically the one where you can't see the interior). I know this is a weird question, but does anyone have the older version files? I know they might not necessarily work in the current update of Beam, but, wanted to ask just in case. I know not everything is out there, so it might be a lost cause, but wanted to try! Hope this is okay to ask for!
Thanks so much for checking! I understand if you don't have them, but just figured I'd ask. We do use the older KARR mod (and that works for the most part, just have to turn the Turbo Booster off otherwise the car just bounces around all over the place), so that's been good at least. Genuinely appreciate it! Looking forward to any updates, even if you don't have them!
