Is there a way to change the minimum distance between forest objects? I'm trying to do grass through the forest object because I'm using a dae file for the terrain. However, it seems there is a minimum distance that I cant seem to change. Any ideas/solutions?

How dense are you making the grass for the forest? It could be that you are simply adding too much grass that will cause performance issues for users.

Well it's nowhere near dense enough to look good, id say about 3-5 feet between each piece of grass. And note: im doing a grass texture on two planes, so its 10 vertices each

I know this thread is old, but I think it could serve as a help for other people stubleing over it:
In the forest editor, in the "Meshes" tab, select your forest item data, and reduce the "Radius" field in the inspector. This allows you to place these forest items closer together.
