*Scratches head* Why use a panel and not a window? RL car makes use panes because making a window is more expensive. Here you are not paying for the thing. Just make a window.
That is an after market modification. Incidentally Nissan President was also stretched the same way. The only people that went this way out of the factory that I know of is Daewoo, in the stretched Chairman That thing in the middle is a plastic panel. Look at Pullman Mercedes They either put a window between the doors or a third set of doors. Alternatively, you can stretch the rear of the car. Like this There is a rear window added and the back of the car is lengthened. This was very popular in the 1950 and 1960 US top models, Rolls Royce, and Mercedes Maybach are doing that today. Unless you just want to use the same way after market people did to the Toyota and Nissan. Also the official made by toyota limo version of the Century looks like this;
And you are wrong once more, the one i posted is in fact an aftermarket one, but this limousine body style was in fact factory produced and only limited to late VG40 models. Please check your facts before arguing. Also this is my decision to make it look like the original and i wont be doing generic 3 window setup as an alternate option.
It was always your choice. I'm just providing feedback. I just think that it looks cheap and uninspired. Just because Toyota and Daewoo(maybe Nissan) did it doesn't mean anyone else has to. Then again it may have been done for structural reasons. That thick pillar in the middle may(and likely does) improve the rigidity of the chassis.
Mate, for me this is the peak, all of the configs so far have been in a matte finish, is there going to be a glossy finish?
After this mod went public relez, I hope I can find analog to Mazda Bongo Friendee so I could recreate クルルァ (Kururua) crash event
Wdym by matte finish? I always stay away from matte in beam because it just doesnt look right atm, all configs have glossy paint.
