i have the mod since a few weeks ago now, and i keep discovering new features of it.

Did you know you can put luggage on the roof (under roof rack)? I considered making a "camper" version, but it would be just like the passenger, with extra luggage, so I left that up to people to discover for themselves.

 

Isn't there a Config that already has a filled Roof Basket?

 

It used to be what I called the passenger type, but someone complained that I don't have a factory config so I made passenger to be that and now the roof luggage is for ppl to explore on their own.

 

If you make a camper version, you could add a roof like on these old vw campers and a camper interior

The interior Sound changes if i spawn traffic.
It gets more quiet and i hear an intake noise

 

Yeah, not sure what I'm supposed to do about that tho...gotta wait for the devs to fix that bug.

Oh, by the way, to fix it in the meantime, while you're playing, I noticed that ctrl+R while in Skoda (reload vehicle) after you spawn traffic fixes the cabin sound. The regular numpad dot (just recovers your car) doesn't seem to fix the issue.

 

That sounds like a typical BeamNG.drive bug...

Yeah sorry for the wheels issues, while I remastered the suspensions themselves, so the geometry is better and everything, I probably left some weird combination of hub node positions and node offset in there so it breaks when you swap wheels. Will fix in the next update.

 

don't know if this issue has been mentioned yet but i have noticed that the engine refuses to start after the ignition is turned off. upon holding the ignition key the engine tries briefly to start but does not. I even tried using the wind tool to give it a push start but the engine refused to start. I will say that this is a rather minor issue and that the rest of the mod is great!! Van is good looking and while slow is still fun to drive!

 

Are you sure you have the most recent version? I addressed specifically this issue just a couple of days ago...unless...the devs fucked up the starter AGAIN in the 0.29 update and thus it's broken again. I think at this point I'll just wait a couple of updates, I'm tired of readjusting the starter over and over

 

Not certain. The file i grabbed was the 93 mb one from the first page of this posting. Is that the correct one? Also in case you suggest it I did try disabling all my other mods as I have found that solved mod issues i had in the past. Unfortunately this time I was not so lucky
