I saw in OuDacai's mod that he managed to make a roof accessory. In it, he integrated the .jbeam file of the lamp into the .jbeam of the car itself. Here is the photo of the integrated .jbeam: This is the .jbeam displayed in Node Beam Editor: So, can somebody teach me how to do this? This is one of the last things I need to do on this to make my roof accessory work. Thank you!
What exactly do you need? If you have a roof accessory model and you just want to add a jbeam like the one in the picture, why don't you just take a look in OuDacais jbeam file and look at the nodes and beams section? It's really easy albeit a little tedious to add, especially without the use of a jbeam editor. First you place the flexbody of the model whereever you want it on the car and attach it to the body - then you add the nodes in the corners of your accessory - Then you connect all the nodes together with beams, and finally you make beams from the nodes to the body of the car whereever applicable. Once youve done that you can then attach your model to your new jbeam. Feel free to hit me up if you need anything.
Don't worry, this is an old thread, I already got the hang of it by now and understand the fundamentals
