So . . . I am in the process of restarting the JBEAM process again and I think this looks good, but I wanted a second opinion. Also, sorry for not posting anything on this thread for a while, I had a rage quit, and then I just got busy.
Here is the new damage model in action!!! I will try to make it more stable in the future, but I really have no idea how to mess with the beam strength or anything like that. I would be really grateful if somebody could give me some pointers.
I have made the final version of the damage model of the chassis!! Here is the test I did. The rear clip damage (not shown in the video) crumples on relatively low speed impacts similar to real life, and major glitches only occur on the third or fourth major impact, which is not really fixable.
hey i have a question do you have any mod release date yet? because I can't find another good mod and one is private and the rest is either a scam or just colors for cars *when I write something from a translator because I'm from Poland :c*
None. At this point, I just have a nascar truck 3D model that I have no idea how to port into the game.
Aww man beam is just hard to mod and easy somtimes tbh i dont rlly know jbeam i just take vanilla jbeams and heavily edit the nodes, beams and triangle positions to make an accurate but not a good damage model as i usally have a partner when i make my mods like the pocket racer as i do jbeams and some of the models and my partner Il goda does a bit of the 3D model and all materials
