I know, it's crazy how all they had to do was really just make the engine ready for the conditions of the arctic, and then put on some snow tires, and other small things and it was ready to go!

I too found that quite interesting, and having a bit of a thing for old diesels (myself having a Citroen BX with an XUD9) I decided to make it. No configs, I don't think they're nessecary. Engine model is the same unfortunately, I'm not very good at models or textures and the image of the engine is quite small too. Edit: Small update, increased engine weight + 50s gearbox and differential ratio

Hey, if you were ever thinking of making the earlier "oval window" model of Beetle, I found a interesting page for a 1955 Beetle that was for sale recently, it has very nice high definition pictures of pretty much the entire car, and I thought it might help if you were ever thinking about making that model of Bug. I can't believe i am now seeing this update after so many months hidden somewhere in the pages. Why isn't it in the main post? Any way, i am blown away by this update. I wasn't really interested driving this thing before that update because it were so unfinished. And now it have features that i wait for ages to be BeamNG's standard. Holy moly, why can't all mods have these interactions? It's exactly what i want able to do. Expecially rolling the windows down. And this with ony of my favorite classic cars. Thanks a lot man! Keep it up! What i am currently miss is some accurate collection of factory related colors to choose from.
Yeah you can if you want, I don't know how accurate the diesel is as I can't find any info on how much torque it made though
Do you think maybe the war-time versions of the Beetle will also become a thing? Just as a question. Maybe even the first versions?
