i know this isnt a thing that would be high priority for the devs but is there a thing like mod grouping being worked on or is there a mod for it. and by mod grouping i mean being able to turn off and on a big group of mods at the same time since i have alot of mods but dont actively use all of them so i would make one for offroading mods one for quality of life etc etc. i also have a potato pc so it might not be a problem for everyone but having all of them enabled at once makes my fps go from 60 to 24 so if there is something besides making folders myself and grouping them like that please tell me.

also sorry if i sounded demanding i have no idea how i can make a message without sounding demanding.

also there might already be a thread about this but i couldnt find it so if there is already one please send it to me

Was just about to make a post asking for this exact same thing. I've currently got 136 mods installed, but I really don't need them all active at the same time. It would be great if there was a way to make groups of them so I could active and deactivate large amounts of mods with a single click instead of the painstaking system that is currently in place.

You can store several folders with mods in your userfolder, and rename the one that you want to currently use to "mods" so it will be active. Also generally you are not supposed to have over 100 mods, the performance impact is very big at that point.

i am already doing something like that but if there was a way of making it easier by making it an ingame button that would be nice but the system that you described with mod storing does work better for me so thank you for the help.

Precisely why I try to not keep them all active at once.
