SOLVED How Do i fix standard steelies appearing white instead of black?

try safe mode!

 

I hate safe mode cuz all my data dissapears

 

Doesn't matter. You have two choices. Use Safe Mode, which will take about 5 minutes to do, or disable your mods one by one, and waste your time if it isn't a mod that's the issue. You can always just reconfigure things afterwards.

 

Just move all mods to a folder on your desktop. Try it then.
You won't lose any mods that way.

 

just try safe mode, then if it works, you know its a mod, so go back to the normal game, and deactivate mods like @driftingmedic said

Why would you do that? You could've just moved them to a different folder.

well if you'd listened, you wouldn't have had to delete your mods. well, maybe its a good thing, seeing that your pfp is from midland :skull:

For future reference: Take all mods to a desktop folder. Break in exactly half and put half in the mod folder. If none of these are the issue, try the other half in the desktop folder and put the repo half back in another folder. If one of these are the issue, break in half again with another desktop folder, and try it again. Keep going with this until the mod or mods are found.

 

I was having the same issue as OP, all the standard black steel wheels were a chrome white instead. I deactivated my mods and am slowly reactivating the ones I will actually use in batches at a time. This whole thread made me get second hand embarrassment, reminds me of that bodybuilders thread where they argued about days in a week. Anyway, thanks for everyone who gave a useful suggestion.
