This is actually awesome! Like a few months ago, I wished that someone would bring this beauty into BeamNG and you did. Love it
as cool as pbr materials would be it'd look horribly out of place with the 10 year old textures and itd probably snowball into a complete remaster by then
could do with being updated a bit for just some minor adjustments (ie interior camera and moving parts) but whatever. still a cool car --- Post updated --- i think if it was done right this mod could look somewhat decent as a "retro game inspired" mod but maybe thats just me
Honestly, i dont think it would look that out of place, atleast the body textures. I updated the old ROR imported Falcon XB GT mod with PBR a while ago, which has some rather old textures and you would think the same that it wouldnt look good, but it did. But I dont complain honestly, this still is very awesome even without PBR. --- Post updated ---
i added pbr but it fucks wit some textures and just looks odd so i wont release it if someone knows how to properly do it i would love to see that
rigs of rods had jagged edges so i dont really care about the edges on this becasue its very cool i wish i could play that game again
Giving it PBR so it has a fresh look is a nice idea but personally from a nostalgia standpoint the car not having an up to official level of jbeam detail and no pbr is nice
For me this car brings major nolstagia and we have been given a normal late 70s emissions choked barge, something you would see kramer from seinfeld driving
not stating an issue here but seeing the difference in deformation compared to rigs of rods is cursed lol
Like a 265 cubic inch V8 or a AMC 282 Cubic inch I6 a terrible V6 Is probably a Buick 3.8 without the turbo
Oh man, this brings me back. The Burnside was my favourite mod for RoR -- I'm so happy to see it in BeamNG.
