SOLVED Bloom lights don't have bloom

    For some reason, even with bloom on, cars with bloom lights have little to no bloom. But some lights on cars randomly do have bloom. Mk2 Pessima Zenith for example. In the first pic, all lights turned on should have bloom but don't. In the second pic, the turn signals in the light monitor are the only lights to have bloom. Any fix to this?

    The new Bloom setting applies only to new materials known as Materials v1.5 or Materials PBR. The amount of bloom generated by emissive surfaces depends on how much energy they are generating. In summary, the amount of bloom you see depends on how high energy value is set up for lights by a modder who is setting up materials.

    the RGB emission amount have to be around 2000s for it to start glowing, or emissive factor in the material have to be higher than 1, like this "emissiveFactor": [ 28, 0, 0 ]

    Not to detract from Car_Killer's message but the game seems to have a problem with bloom effects upon first loading into a map
    (Nordschleife map used in these photos):

    After toggling photo mode on and off:
    Dunno why this happens and it's a pretty weird bug
    (I've only used the Zenith Mk.2 for these screenshots, unsure if this happens to other vehicles)

    It's possible some of the photo mode settings are not being reset every time you use it so sometimes bloom threshold value will be different and it will reset after opening./closing photo mode

    That's not true and there is no universal amount of emission value you should use and there are a lot of factors to it. You should treat every material individually to get the best effects.

    Yeah, could probably be the reason (and I know basically nothing about how this game works anyways :p)
    ...Also just found out that this only happens on the Nordschleife map, bloom on Utah works fine upon first spawn in

    i get this result with these settings, not saying it's a fixed definitive amount of emission, but it has to be more than just 255, that's what i'm saying

    That map edits a lot of stuff so maybe there is some reason for it, I did not really look into it.

    Well I believe I've found the problem just by looking at this post. The Nordschleife map must be causing these issues because the bloom bug would happen every time I loaded it, but I didn't realize it until now.
