I ordered a Ryzen 5800x yesterday on eBay. Little did I know, I Had set my street address to a bunch of scrambled letters I had made the account a few years ago just for browsing. I’ve asked them to cancel it and make another listing which I would then buy with the correct address.?I really hope they see the messages I sent them. I’ve done some research and found out that if an address doesn’t exist, it’ll be either brought back to the sender or be stored in the post office. So, I’m really stressed right now
I’m mostly stressed because , if it actually goes through and is sent in Canada, I can’t get it refunded from eBay. They’ll say it’s my responsibility. And I can’t ask for it, because my name was also incorrect
you can check Lego ideas, theres a godzilla model thats currently in review phase.. I'm hoping it makes it into the market and I would buy it. Just sharing if you're interested
Quick update on the cpu: the stress is insane! The seller has not responded to my messages, it’s been 72 hours and he just sent it to eBay’s shipping hub. I’ve contacted eBay and they’ll force him to respond to my messages. eBay said it’s not shipped yet, and they say I’ll either get a refund, or the seller will have to change the address
best of luck, hopefully it gets fixed or corrected did a lot of online shopping for pc parts, can be stressful at times so yea
Ok! It’s all sorted out! I got a full refund, and bought it again!!! I also bought an IO shield too, for the motherboard I bought last week. Also, my pc just broke. Perfect timing! The output shuts off after windows starts loading. Sound works, kb and mouse works too, it’s just an issue with drivers (hopefully)god I hope my ancient gtx 970 isn’t broken anyways, If that’s the case, I was planning an rtx 3070 ti upgrade and 32 gb of ram, but that’s not a priority now
I started a new job a couple of weeks ago, hence why i havent been very active here. Its my first ever deskjob, still cant get used to the cleanliness, and today with 2 minutes to go before i finished i decided that after enough time familiarising myself with all the computer programs and terminology used within the industry (we sell bearings) that i should start answering the phones, i made one call and easily cost the company around ten grand in a lost sale. Thankfully the boss wasnt around today but i will tell him straight up tomorrow. I do believe i am in an profession thats unsuitable for me, perhaps the big man will agree and send me on with a weeks notice, we will see...
I was feeling generous today, so I bought the gavril scout for someone on the forums. It made my day and probably also made his day. Speaking of day, what a nice day to go for a bike ride here in New-Brunswick, not too hot, not too sunny, just good Don’t message me for a paid mod. Stop
Test drove a Mustang last week and a dealer nearby to the ford dealer has loads of sports cars and high end US cars so we went there too and i saw a Mclaren Senna there 1.6 million euros and its even crazier IRL than on pictures. They also had like 10 C7 Corvettes and alot of Hellcats wich arent as uncommon as you might think here in germany
So i ended up keeping the job, thankfully one of the sales reps knew the guy asking for a fluid coupling and got the sale back, i am also getting proficient at using the computers though i still need to work at my phone skills. Its getting more tolerable but also more harrowing, with a general feeling complete disaster one mouse click away. This whole "working through the day" thing is also quite difficult getting used to, at least the pays alright i guess. Im just going to have to stick at though if im going to be an adult and get my own place again, though im definitely out of my place in this job...
bought my first set of aftermarket wheels not my image since they haven't arrived yet but I've been wanting a set tarmacs for a very very very long time. my BF is also on fifteen52 comps so I guess we'll be twinning .
What kind of car are you putting them on? --- Post updated --- I may purchase this amazingly green machine.
