Does anyone know how to get the old sound into an engine? I know how to change the soundConfig, but I don’t know how to make it the old sound, which I know is still in the files. --- Post updated --- At least, the sound file is present.
i think he means the loud funny sound that all car's eninges would have produced back in 2013-2017? i think.
eesh i dont know if it is doable in a way that wont break everything else. if i remember correctly, the old sounds require sbeam to make them work, but the old sbeam sound stuff breaks all other engine sound for the whole vehicle if you try and add sbeam over the mods. how do i know? i tried to port the rotary engine from the satsuma 210 onto the autobello piccolina a long time ago, and once i had the rotary engine working with its old sbeam sounds, none of the other piccolina engines made any sounds what so ever. the old sbeam system breaks the new sounds on any other engines for that vehicle. maybe im missing something and its possible without too much trouble. but from my understanding it would be quite troublesome..
the sound should still be built into the game for engines without soundconfig. it still plays with really old mods, idealcar is one i used recently.
