Yup! I believe 03-07 Lincoln Town Car came with the 'Lincoln Navigation System.' Lol. So I decided to use that as the Navigational Head Unit for the Vic.
How do I use the message board/set the message for it? Been trying to figure it out for a good half hour and can't figure it out.
It's just quirky & doesn't like to work most of the time. As for setting a custom message, you'd have to edit the file though I'm not sure which one at the moment.
I believe it was alt+shift+n or something, but the text is not very bright overall and it's almost invisible in daylight
Yeah, it just uses glowmaps. Have to reload the car (Ctrl+R) and then it works. Not sure why it does. Same issue happens with the display I made for one of the radios.
The reason could be a conflict between the light bar controllers, since they all use different modes, and the one that gets loaded last overrides the rest and they won't function properly then.
Will you make a Lincoln Town Car and a Mercury Grand Marquis vehicles anytime soon? I would love to see them come to the game.
Hello creator of the Ford crown victoria when the mod comes out well you could launch it in the BeamNG workshop please you are my #1 fan favorite --- Post updated --- Sí, también haz esos mods.If 5also make those mods and also launch them within the BeamNG workshop
im pretty sure that due to licensing and stuff, real life brands and logos are not allowed on the repo, so it's probably a no (unless Moxxie chooses to change it's name, then it's up to them)
Another issue is the body model, which comes from Forza and therefore disqualifies the Vic from ever reaching the repo. --- Post updated --- Anyway, I wonder are there any plans of adding Metric gauge clusters?
Correct. This mod is not allowed on the BeamNG Repository as it is a real life car using the real name. And that the model itself was made by Forza and not myself. YES! Metric Gauges are planned. Just wanted to get all the Imperial ones first. I'll probably start on the Metric faces once I get the analog odometer for the 98-05 Cluster.
Seeing as it’s a metric gauge, it’s probably 49K km, meaning it’s got 30,000 miles. It’s probably a detective’s car in Canada or something, going by the certified calibration on in the cluster.
