and the loading problem is normal since this is high quality or me just spawning it in the first time. either you still are correct since beamng loads long when trying a car that you've never tried before

Could you possibly mount tails vertically like on real 2104? You could get lower loading height and differentiate from sedan a bit more. I know that it's not even a Lada, just inspired by it, but it'd be more logical. Still looks cool, really hyped for it

 

after playing with the car for a couple hours i found a couple details that could change:
the engines are a little too powerful considering it's a soviet car, especially with the fuel injected intake when for example the simple 1.3 makes (i think) 90hp, which is a bit too positive. i'd lower all engines by at least 10hp

in crashes it just feels too tough, i know thick soviet steel is good and won't break easily, but again seems a little unrealistic compared to how real soviet cars behave in crashes


last thing is missing configs for fuel injected versions and for non-export late wagons, but that's something i can do myself and i believe it will be added in later updates

even through all this it's still a super fun mod and i def recommend getting the early access

 

isnt this partially based off the miramar? because wouldnt selling this be illegal then????

yea i can see that altho i dont have the mod, 90hp out of a 1.3 seems kinda a lot for something with roots back to the 70s thats designed to run off the lowest octane gas possible

 

was it really making that much with fuel injection? Well i guess i gotta tweak them way more

 

nope. No it isn’t. Perfectly legal
