When you say "working gas starions", what do you mean? I'm super late to this map and haven't played beam in a while.
Well, that's a feature where you can use gas stations to refuel. That's been around since map's release. --- Post updated --- Some progress of the new city that'll come to a new update for the map, but not sure how soon though.
Just to add an element of unexpected surprise, i added an abandoned parking lot with radiation in it (it will do nothing to your car or walk mode character when approached close, it's just for a decoration need)
There is already a road around the city, if you mean making a ring or something. As for ramp, i don't know.
I'm trying to complete the 101 point race, I couldn't do it with normal 4x4 vehicles, due to damage problems and lack of fuel, so I'm trying with a modified truck, which reaches more than 400 km/h [I don't know yet, since the clutch overheats in 18 speed], I can't go over 375 km/h [but I'll try].
It's not really far, and it's near testing site spawn point. It would only take a struggle of the engine to go up the hill from Town to the city. --- Post updated --- Not really, but i probably should consider giving them names, I won't add signs for that though since i don't have time for it. --- Post updated --- Okay so, regarding the name change, i have already done it, they might change again if i decided they sound bit weird for some reasons. Now mind you, the town names is a mix between Italian sounding names, and English sounding names, since the lore of the map says people living here use 2 languages, English and Italian. Here's a list of now changed town names: Town - Costa Rilassante (literally means Relaxy Coast) Remote Town 1 - Sandix Remote Town 2 - Farmingham (parody name to Birmingham) Station Town - Fuello Hill Town - Hilltown (same name just with no space) The name for the upcoming city will be given later, i don't have any ideas to name it, and i haven't made much of the map just yet. See you soon.
Do you have plans to make the main highway running by the seaside level? I like the concept but the fact that this road slopes to the right requiring constant steering input to stay on really limits its potential as a map for peaceful long drives.
guys... i have terrible news... BeamNG has froze completely mid development of the city, and then crashed, resulting it to corrupt half of the level files, completely ruining the city files... this is great... --- Post updated --- note: i didn't back up everything. --- Post updated --- this means i have to completely rework the city now from ground up using the latest public version of the map.
i can't do this right now, i have other things to do right now. --- Post updated --- this is all that's left from the city after i restored to the public version. I have to rework everything. --- Post updated --- from now on, i'll start reworking the city, this time with some better changes than before. but i'll try to shape it the same as it was before corruption, which should be done quick since i remember the building placement and road networks prior to the corruption.
i suspect the sheer scale of this map is what causes the affect on the camera shake as seen in Beam Boy's video here. it makes it quite hard to just play the map i don't know its really disturbing for driving in interior cam
it has nothing to do with the shaking of the camera (or really flowing point issue), it corrupted during saving of the level, however world editor told me it was saved, but it didn't show me saving in process message. Assuming it saved i quit the game, and coming back to it, the level is completely destroyed, and i had to restore it using mix of latest public release with the dev version of the map.
