the lada pack is old and outdated. i think the last time it worked was before the Wendower was added to the game (mid 2020 i think). and the download link is taken since its outdated so you cant download it. this looks a lot more better aswell!

havent really looked but i hope this has crazy configs like that one did and / or the garage54 youtube channel, always doing insane crazy experiments with these sort of cars

That would just make it a copy of a real life car, I think having different body design is good for lore purposes

TAZ Mir was an ordinary family sedan produced since 1976 in the Soviet Union until 2007 in Russia.
Back in 1973 TAZ (Тольяттинский Aвтомобильный Завод, Tolyatti Automotive Plant) asked Ibishu if they could build a car of their own based on Ibishu's around 5 year old Miramar platform. Ibishu approved the decision and in 1976 the first TAZ Mir rolled off the production line. It was offered with multiple (not so) different engine options and a few colors to choose from. It was quite successful in rallying and it won most competitions it entered. The production of the early model TAZ Mir lasted until 1986 when it was decided to update the vehicle to be more safe and modern looking. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in the beginning of the 90s the production started to slow down due to limited amount of resources. It took TAZ a few years to get the production back to where it was before the collapse of the Soviet Union. TAZ Mir continued to be sold just like it was before without any sort of updates beeing made to it. The production of it lasted until 2007 when TAZ decided to stop producing the iconic Mir.

TAZ Baikal was the first modern SUV produced by the Soviet automaker TAZ in the Soviet Union since 1981, until 2014 in Russia. In 1975, when TAZ Mir was still a year away from being introduced, TAZ decided to start developing a new SUV based on the TAZ Mir platform, which would be the first unibody construction SUV in the world. Developing of the vehicle took 5 years when it was finally released in 1980. The only engine offered in the first 11 years of it beeing in production was the 1.5l engine from the TAZ Mir which barely compensated for the torque the small SUV really needed. In 1991, TAZ partnered up with Autobello, the famous Italian car company and TAZ started using Autobello 1.7 liter turbo diesel 4 cylinder engines for TAZ Baikal as well as the TAZ Mir which recieved it in 1993. Most Baikal's after the year 1992 recieved the bulletproof Autobello powerplant, thanks to it having lots of torque. In 1993 Baikal was facelifted with a more plasticy and modern look. It recieved the more modern door styling as well as interior from the late model TAZ Mir, which was already in producion since 1986. The updated Baikal lasted until 2014, when it recieved a slight facelift for it to be sent off after beeing in production for 34 years.

Questions that will be probably asked:

Will there be any sort of paid content?
It is going to be free.

1) Will you add a wagon TAZ Mir?
Maybe, maybe not.

2) What about a VFTS 2105 style rally car?
It is done.

3) When is the release?
When it is ready.

4) Will you add a TAZ Baikal, like the Niva legend or a 5 door Baikal?
No Niva legend and probably no 5 door either, atleast for now.

5) What other bodystyles will you add for the baikal?
It is planned to add a pickup, of which the model is actually done, and a chassis cab variant.

I don't like the idea of paying just to be able to use a BeamNG Mod, so i'll just wait for when this actually releases. I love the idea of smashing up old Russian cars, and the Wentward 5000 Series was pretty high quality, so i have high expectations for this.

After purchasing early access I can safely say that is worth the price of admission. The details are excellent, like a functional ignition switch.... Who asked for that? Nobody, but it works. The headlight switch works, differential and gear selector works with clicking. The crash and driving physics are also top tier. What a great mod, I applaud you good sir.

Yeah, so if you can't wait and enjoy some soviet era lore friendly autos, show Ryan some love. If not just be patient, I am sure the release will exceed your expectations.
