I'm doing some tests with the cars that come with the game first, then maybe modded cars. I'm only doing 0-60 MPH and Top Speed tests right now, but suggestions on more tests are appreciated!
    Results so far:
    Gavril D-Series:
Default: 0-60: 8.01 Seconds over 128.3 Meters Top Speed: 107 MPH
V8 RWD Custom: 0-60: 7.18 Seconds over 106.08 Meters Top Speed 149 MPH
    I6 RWD: 0-60: 8.54 Seconds over 134.5 Meters Top Speed: 110 MPH
    V8 4WD Off-Road: 0-60: 3.93 Seconds over 67.11 Meters Top Speed: 119 MPH
    V8 RWD Sport:0-60: 9.15 Seconds over 137.42 Meters Top Speed: 112 MPH
    V8 4WD Stripped: 0-60: 5.31 Seconds over 85.31 Meters Top Speed: 138 MPH
    V8 4WD: 0-60: 8.04 Seconds over 129.33 Meters Top Speed: 105 MPH
    Gavril H-Series:
Default: 0-60: 9.91 Seconds over 159.09 Meters Top Speed: 108 MPH
Drift Missile: 0-60: 10.42 Seconds over 160.52 Top Speed: 151 MPH

WTF? The Sport-Version is slower than the normal versions and the offroad version is the fastest 0-60mph car? Fucked up logic.
I think the developers have to overwork the names of the cars or their power trains^^

    Sport, 2wd, wheelspin.
The off road should be quickest, it has a lower range diff providing more torque at the wheel at cost of low top speed. Top speed shown here is very wrong though.

Yeah, it gets a sh*t ton of wheelspin off the line. I'll retest the top speed for the sport. I'm using Endless Highway by Nadeox1, if that changes anything.

If the Top speed is wrong in this list, then I agree with you. But if not, its not logical.

But if you compare, you can see that even the I6 RWD is faster than the V8 RWD SPORT. Who would buy the sport edition, if it is slower than every other D15.

Managed to get it to 112 MPH, won't go any faster. Definitely bizarre.

Quick question: how do you figure out the 0-60 time now? With the old UI it used to just be on the same page as the airspeed, but now i have no clue where to find it

It's called performance timers in the UI.

Are you using a proper shifting mode, modulating throttle, and shifting at the right time? The D15 Sport and Custom can be a full second faster to 60 mph if launched and driven properly. They're RWD, so you have to be careful about wheelspin. The Sport has a crummy automatic so there's not much you can do, though.

I've been using normal automatic and flooring it. I don't have a proper shifter yet but I could test in manual.

In 'Arcade Auto' the D15 i6 rwd does 0-60 in about 9,2 seconds but in the 'Manual with auto clutch' setting I takes about 11 seconds even though I shift at the same rpm's etc. I think it should be looked in to if it hasn't been already?

It's probably because the arcade auto shifts instantly - I think we're still working on a proper shift delay.

Technically autos in real life shift faster than a human can, this is why you see alot of drag racing cars with automatics.

Actually most do not, many are setup to shift slower even. Only DCT's shift faster.

not really, only one that has a chance is a DCT (as 6677 said above) transmissions used in drag races are custom made, and youll never find them on a street car

besides, this is an old american pickup truck from the 80's (possibly older, gabe doesn't really specify), it's not going to have an automatic transmission that shifts anywhere near as fast as a human can

doesn't matter what auto you have really, an auto is almost seamless with its gear changes, you dont have to take your foot off of the gas pedal to push in the clutch, change gear, take foot off clutch, and apply foot back on accelerator...

Manual is still faster in most consumer cars (unless they have a dct auto) but even then, a manual will always be more fun then any auto can possibly be

You'll find autos generally have quite long shift times as they individually release or re-engage clutches and brakes to perform the gear shifts. They are not instantaneous at all. The DCT is faster than any other transmission though.
