Is it bad that I have spent about 5 minutes trying to work out of that hillbilly is CGI or not, I'm going with yes (both for spending 5 minutes trying to work it out, and yes for it being CGI).
Particularly the hat for me, but yes, it seems to have a shinyness to it that a photo shouldnt, its damn good though, GIMME THAT IN VIDEO GAMES NOW, well, perhaps not the hillbilly...
Hillbillies are the ones that like nascar though. Get your facts straight before you go making bad jokes.
I'd love to see all of you dipsticks drive a car that close to a wall in real life, or that close to another cars bumper, at 200mph on a banked oval track, hour after hour, in a car this hot. Even though they do only make left turns, Nascar is EXTREMELY exhausting, way more so than F1, steering is way heavier and such, and therefore crashes happen far more often than in F1. The cars are set up to naturally steer left, so to go straight on the straights, they constantly have to countersteer... It's a lot harder to hold concentration on a track that looks so simple, because your mind just wanders off thinking about other stuff... Then you crash in the 3rd corner. To me, F1 is the most boring motorsport in the world, literally nothing ever happens nowadays(F1 from long ago is a whole different story though)... Nascar is WAY more interesting because crashes are actually really common(as sadistic as that sounds), and because the cars have very little electronic helps in them like they have in F1. Apparantly they burn more calories than an athlete does during a marathon. I bet all you people who say Nascar is boring have never actually driven an oval for a few laps in a videogame... Papyrus had a Nascar game which had extremely realistic physics, you can see how hard it is in this video(this guy does all kinds of racing games, and is pretty good at driving in that F1 game, yet in Nascar... well... see for yourself): Skip to 11:53...
What do you guys think about the 2 (Brad Keselowski), the 48 (Jimmie Johnson), and the 88 (Dale Jr.) all being out of the next round of the Chase entering Talladega?
Yeah, he should be. Contact post-race should be immediately punished. Hamlin should've gotten a small fine or something in my opinion. They made the right move with Kenseth, though.
As soon as I get 3DS Max back up and running on my laptop, I'm gonna get back to work on my Gen 6 model
...and no penalties for the team that was already on probation for similar incidents... I used to like Keselowski.
They're put in a box. If they penalized Keselowski, his fanbase will freak out, but if they don't, justice won't be served.
So what do you guys think of the Championship Contenders for tomorrow? Four drivers with zero championships between them, 10 total wins so far this season, and even a driver who missed a race in the regular season. We have Kevin Harvick (6 wins), Denny Hamlin (1 win, at Talladega), Joey Logano (4 wins), and Ryan Newman (winless). I think Harvick, out of the four, has shown all season long that he deserves the title. He, Gordon and Keselowski seemed to be in contention for wins more often than not, and with the latter two's elimination, I'm picking Harvick for the 2014 Sprint Cup title. Newman has a high potential to spoil, though, and Ford (Logano's manufacturer) has a history of performing well at Homestead. I don't see Hamlin winning, as he seems to have been mediocre but lucky all year. As for the race, I don't think any of the contenders will win, although the champion will likely end up in the top 5. I see Gordon and Keselowski running up front all race, and my gut says to go with Jeff Gordon for the race winner. What about you guys? Who do you pick for the race, and who do you pick for the title?
