I think they would bundle that with a vehicle that's good at showcasing it. I strongly doubt they'll release it alongside a new offroad vehicle if that's the only new content. If they show off a more track-focused car next, then I'd hold it for more likely.
FSR 3 is coming with their own Frame Generation called AMD Fluid Motion Frames, Native AA Mode, and Anti Lag+ for rx 7000 gpu users may be able to double performance at minimal resource cost..? DLSS 3 Frame Generation is good even in a cpu bound game Wonder if devs would take advantage of this tech
I really enjoy the Wednesday inside sneak peaks on development struggles. The current combo is really nice.
Apart from the utility bed for the D-Series, the large tires added in the 0.26 Update could be used for dumper trucks and excavators. Plus, the new centrifugal clutch feature added in the 0.27 with the FPU Wydra is also perfect for a crawler dozer/loader and, for added variety, a Bobcat! Not to mention that, combined with the crawlers of the bulldozer (and the Bobcat, since it can also be equipped with a pair of crawlers), the centrifugal clutch can also find its way into military equipment (a tank and a specialized military/fire crew/police off roader for goods deliveries, rescues and chases in treacherous areas are the perfect examples of this). Not to mention again the new wheel and tire combo added with the Unstable Cover in the Gambler 500 Update, which is perfect for a farming tractor.
This was a joke. But what if? I have been laughing about this all evening and it's probably not even that funny.
The loading of the trailer is dumb... Do you know if the game manage this kind of thing (trailer too loaded at the rear -> road handling issue)?
I don't usually drive with trailers, but the whole point of the game is to be an insanely-detailed, open-ended physics simulation, so I assume yes.
oh just to reiterate my last post, I think I didnt clear it up properly: AMD Fluid Motion Frames, and FSR 3 is available for ALL GPUS it's only rx 7000 that will receive the additional anti-lag+ this means that you can get from 2-3x frames but it comes in Q1 2024 would be interesting in beamng, I might test it when it reaches Lossless Scaling app
You're right on this one, the D-Series Prerunner weighs at least 3 tonnes (the Super-Pig is a little bit below that, though) and the Side-by-Side seems like a very light vehicle, like 1 tonne max.
For those of you wondering why they haven’t made or announced any remasters, it’s because there’s something big blocking them from doing it. Watching steelorses video on 0.27 speculation, he mentioned that he messaged the devs on why there wasn’t a 200bx remaster. So no full remasters until they finally implement that big under the hood feature
And he had issued in the same video the possibility of having Wydra FPU technologies on recreational vehicles such as the four-wheeler/side-by-side.
Quite frankly, I don't see a reason to add RTX/DLSS/FSR/AC/DC to this game when it still struggles with much more basic stuff. FSR is cool, but I'd rather see the devs fix (though upgrade is a better word) lighting and shadows, they are way too resource consuming for what they are. Only when the base game becomes more efficient you could turn it up to 11 with fancy upscaling.
ngl I just wanna have stable vulkan and good LODs with less pop-in edit: better AA too, been waiting for that for so long. SMAA really doesn't cut it
definitely agree! I can't wait for them to work on those first! We need those more than these upscalers and other fancy tech.
