Yes it can break off, and I removed the useless glass slot.

 

Remaking a mod of this scale with the amount of free time I have will take months or even years to finish... But I'm hoping to have a demo version out ideally by the beginning of next month, which will have only one car, but no promises about that.

Anyway some progress for today, added some of the parts that I found out about during research, such as standard fender antennas, high performance radiator and sport suspension parts, and made configs that use them: Diesel Towing, Rallye Package, Firm Ride & Handling Package. I don't need to show any pictures since visually they don't look any different. I also researched more about the AeroDynic and made the "flash patterns" (beacon angles) of it more accurate and added some new ones that were not included on the official website for some reason but existed irl.

 

I can make it an option but was it really a thing it had from the factory?

 

I would say aftermarket since this car looks very far from stock.

 

Some progress from the last 2 days.
I wanted to make realistic configs but also to make the color schemes not too repetetive. So I researched what color combinations were available on what cars for 1982 and picked the best fitting combinations for each config.

Made a spreadsheet for the factory config parts and colors too to keep it more organized, hand picked which options would fit which config the best. So far only for Delta 88 Sedan.

And this is the configs list in game now.

I made a new one called the "I Am Rich Special" which basically has ALL of the factory options installed, even if they don't make sense together, sport suspension with a tow hitch lol. Now with the configs taken care of I think I can resume the work on the wagon.

 

They spawn around it, I think I will reuse this for some junkyard configs.
