Ok so if it worked by spawning a 96, this means that for some reason the Midsize’s material is missing from the Goal’s main.materials.json Which is strange since it seems like a no brainer to do, maybe it just got unnoticed because barabash didn’t open the hood on the VR6. But it’s a simple fix luckily
I’m now saying this, but the name „Jento” reminds me of one of those crappy Protegent commercials, the one with a kid named Jintu or something like that I just keep getting reminded of it lol

I am enjoying the new GTI parts, especially the spoiler. Even made a decently controllable rally car. The 2.0L engine will not turn over however, needs to be fixed.
Just added the mod today. Noticed the missing engine texture on the VR6 as well. Tried loading the '96 (Gen 2) Pessima as suggested, then reloading the VR6 and it indeed worked. ...though, of course, if I close and relaunch the game, the cycle repeats. Now, I did some more experimenting and it seems there's a bit of a kicker. If I try loading a Gen 2 Pessima FIRST after starting the game, THEN load the VR6, the engine textures for the VR6 still come up broken, BUT it also breaks the Pessima as if I switch back to it, its engine textures then come up broken and I have to relaunch the game to fix them both. So it seems the workaround is, after starting the game... 1. Load the VR6 first, engine textures will fail 2. Load up a '96 (Gen 2) Pessima 3. Reload the VR6 Both vehicles loaded fine for me after that (repeat after each relaunch).
This is because the VR6 material propably points to incorrect files, and the Pessima overwrites that with correct textures
Seems to be the same for the Hirochi Rush the car textures they import forever --- Post updated --- It only happend after the recent update
Judging by your last 3 messages and Franz’s message, there may be a longer/broken texture importing time since 0.30
