0.30 Discussion Thread

Issues persist with 0.30.2

 

I am unable to search effectively if this has been reported, but as far as I can tell, tree LODs are having some issues on Automation Test Track, any graphics settings; I saw this consistently on 0.30.0, 0.30.1, I have not had a chance to check 0.30.2

Just a question. What is this off the coast of the new islannd?

 

I really like new areas on WCUSA, especially extended underground sewer system near metal factory. I also noticed small "work-in-progress" on Police station I hope one day all other multi-storey car parks also will be open one day. Same with more alleys and backyards.

However, I don't like how island looks like. In my opinion this should be full of houses and maybe even mansions and villas and docks full of yachts instead of another cargo port. This would make more sense. Refinery should be placed in that empty spot south of main city.

The intake on the Hirochi Aurata is not in the correct position when in water. it starts flooding where the turbo is and not where the intake is up by the seat.

 

I used to think this wasn't worth reporting, but after the previous small typo corrections I thought I'd mention this sooner rather than later.

The issue in question? These three Covet configs have descriptions that are capitalized weirdly (e.g. the MR Turbo Rally's description should read "A mid-engined rally machine and one of the fastest Covets to ever enter a rally championship"), and, to a lesser extent, many of the descriptions for the ETK 800 configs also suffer from odd capitalization and missing hyphens (e.g. "Base model with a 4-cylinder turbo engine").



In the meantime, I've put proofread copies of the relevant ___.info.json files in my vehicles folder.

(EDIT: Not sure if this has been addressed as of the second hotfix, but there's also a typo in the Aurata's high performa(n)ce radiator.)

 

Please let us use the small tilt deck trailer wheels (16x7 steelies) on normal cars

I have encountered exactly the same issue, cars driving autonomously using CRTL+SHIFT+I respawn immediately after receiving damage like broken windows, lights etc.

 

I have to admit I really hate the new realistic shift mechanic. It might make sense if you are using a H shifter for the game, but for buttons and keys it is not intuitive and feels much less realistic.

So are these parameters now ignored for transmissions?

Not too familiar with how turbos work, but I'm pretty sure this is not right (Checked in safe mode):

This is on the Piccolina, and it shows up like this when using a Stage 1 or 2 Turbocharger on either of the water cooled F4 engines. It seems to be using the intake pipes that go from the turbo to the intercooler from the stage 3 variable boost twin turbochargers instead. The pipe that leaves the intercooler is also the one from the stage 3 variable boost twin turbochargers...

 

On the subject of center lines, the center stripes on the new WCUSA roads are white instead of yellow. I recall the same thing happened in the last WCUSA expansion, but it was fixed with one of the hotfixes.

Ok, I see. But I think you should really implement reverse gear synchronization quickly then, or implement a temporary workaround, because this is really annoying, especially if you are not standing still but moving forwards, its basically impossible to get the gear in then,
