Building a gaiming pc

Ok then i think i will go for the 4690k

But what should i go for the mainboard, i want something silent. Is the z29 good?
And last but not least RAM is 8gb ddr3 1600mhz enough

 

Hard pressed to find a motherboard which makes any noise at all.... Considering they have no moving parts, they are pretty damn silent. The only noise they have is from the piezo crystal used for POST beeps etc (although you can beep it from windows userspace code too, I played "mary had a little lamb" on it once in python).


8gb in a gaming machine. Absolutely fine. When it does come to the day that 8gb isnt enough, memory is an easy upgrade.

 

8gb @1600 should be enough. As for the board, get a Z97 ASUS board, just get the best you can afford. If you plan to OC get at least the Z97-A.

The Z97-P is the budget option of the Z97 range, I would recommend a Z97-A if you're planning to overclock, but otherwise you should be fine.
The price is at least $50 more than US prices, but I doubt you'll find much better.

 

Yea the prices.... a gopro hero 4 black cost 400 dollars the pc upgrade cost 516 dollars but the amount of money that the pc upgrade cost isent enough for the hero 4 black
