I actually thought of some configs Broken(missing right fender and grille) Gt-line (the sport version of kia) Uber config Cheap (missing hubcaps) Hope u consider those
Bug was noted on the release, I do not have any idea how to fix It as It's pretty sketchy. Broken config: It's gonna look like a modland russian mod lol Gt-line config: Gt-line was produced only In facelift models, and this Is prelift one Uber config: Idk what you really mean by uber config, what addons should be there Cheap: It just doesn't make sense lol Although I might make a beater config Idk
Idk if this was noted before, but the front suspension is horribly fragile. It breaks whenever you try to j-turn even at low speed, and is just overall prone to breaking
Decent mod. One thing I noticed missing is automatic gearbox, which from what I can find was an option.
Good mod, few small tweaks and fixes needed including the configs only being visible when the .PC config button is selected. Love it overall though!
First of all, it's a very decent mod, I love driving it around. Handling feels good, and it looks amazing. The damage model is quite nice, too. However, I've also encountered two obvious issues so far: 1. The brake lights are in the wrong position. IIRC they should be in the outer lights, not the inner ones. 2. The bonnet (hood) can't be closed using the provided click spot. Opening works, closing requires Nodegrabber. All other doors are working perfectly.
So about the .PC thing having to be triggered, that doesn’t need to happen as long as you have an Info file for that config. There’s files for every BeamNG configuration that goes something like „info_configname.json”, you can see how it’s done for the vanilla vehicles. Hope this helped, and I like this mod a lot!
I honestly really like this mod, for a meshslap, it is very good. But I also have encountered a few bugs and things, this car is missing. - the headlights are not finished, if you turn on the highbeam, the light, next to the lowbeam light should light up aswell - the foglights dosen´t work, neither in the front, nor in the rear (On the rear, the light on the left taillight, which is red, where on the right taillight is the reverse light, is actually a foglight indicator. Confusing, right?) - there are two types of AWD transfer cases, but there is no option for a rear differential, to bring them actually to work with AWD It might sound a lot, but these are all (in my opinion), small things, which could be fixed easilly. All in all, I consider this a great piece of work and I´m very exited, to see new progress on this and on the Novecento. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, the front foglight works, and about the rear one I saw reference pics on internet and It's actually correct (although I didnt make rear foglight work) about the headlights, I didn't have any ref pic that It has highbeam different so thx for that and about the transfer case u sure It's not in the rear suspension jbeam? If not I'm gonna try to fix that aswell
Thanks for answering! I found out, that the rear suspension is actually a Torsion Beam suspension, which don´t supports differentials, because its a solid thing. For a suspension, that supports AWD, you need a rear independent suspention, which acually allows both wheels, to operate independ from each other. You are using Vivace JBeam files, I saw. In the game files you can simply take the independent suspension from the Tograc, which will fit perfectly on the Vivace body. You only need to adjust the JBeam part. I recommend, just copy nodes, beams and triangles from the Torsion Beam suspension and paste it instead of the nodes, beams and triangles section in the independent suspension. If you are using the normal editor, then press "ctrl + H", to open the rename section. Type in the upper field "tograc" and in the rename field "vivace" and it should replace everything properly. I also would recommend, to take the 3d model of the independent suspension from the Vivace and put it in your 3d model. Then, rename everything to Vivace (Blender has a rename function too, but I dont know, how to use it. Sorry). Now you need to go back to the Vivace folder and take the .json "vivace_differential_R" Here, I think, you not have to rename anything, just copy-paste it into your Kia folder (the 3d-model of the differential is already included in the independent suspension). I hope, then it should work. It may sounds a little confusing, but maybe it helps you Schmitti
