I hope I am not annoying because of asking this again, but has there been any progress on the remaster or blowover mod? Also are you going to post some sort of update of the progress in the near future?
Yes, I will. I have been very busy with some other projects recently, but there is still progress being made.
Someone should make a garage 56 scheme for the camero, I would but I'm clueless about that kind of stuff.
this is gonna be epic!!! will it have the big spoiler and rear bumper extension for the superspeedway config?
Sorry to be a pain is there any progress update? I love the original mod, especially towing it after I've crashed it lol. Will the new version have a openable hood and decklid? I hope to easily be able to hook a tow truck up to the front roll bars/frame rails like they used to when they'd tow IRL.
Do you think you are gonna make it so you can put different engines and transmissions in it? like for example Hendrick Track Attack with the LSX and 5spd sequential or just those YouTubers that make track day cars out of retired NASCAR Cup and xfinity cars?
is the interior ( for example the dashboard) going to be less deformable or is it going to be the same as in the original gen 6?
Anyone can add engines and transmissions into it via mods! Only the stock cup car engine(s?) will be included in the base mod, however. --- Post updated --- The dashboard is not meant to be deformable, that was just a side effect of the way I implemented it (it connected to the chassis nodes and deformed with them). I'm not sure yet how it will work with this one.
No. The UV map is different as the model is different. However, I may add the old body as an option to allow compatibility with old schemes, but it would not be as high quality or performant as the main body.
