I'm loving the Hirochi Aurata! Seems like the absolute perfect vehicle for taking almost any kind of off-road adventures and it may even be the best at taking large jumps because it's so light on its feet! Plus it's tiny and that makes it cute and, also, extremely agile!
As for its transmission, I don't know what kind of transmission SxSs use IRL but this being a Hirochi, it makes perfect sense for it to have a CVT. For some inexplicable reason, I kinda like that it's almost all the time near the redline during acceleration. The Inline-3 sounds great and I'm a big fan of it (I own a 3-cylinder IRL)! :p

    Found some mistakes though:
    1) The 'Junior' variant could be equipped with the High Performance Exhaust, to go along with the High Performance Intake it's already equipped with. It's a race vehicle, after all! Also, its description begins with "Tamely race" while it should be starting with "Tamely racer".
    2) The speedometer only goes up to 199 km/h, which is impractical when you drive really fast.
    3) The switches on the center panel should be interactive and, since they seem to be backlit, they should also be able to be turned on and off according to the current ignition state. The latter also applies to the navigation screen.
    4) In the parts selector, the High Performance Radiator is written as "High Performace Radiator", with a missing "n".
    5) The CVT's clutches, Race Adjustable or not, seem to be overheating very quickly when accelerating on full throttle from a standstill - I noticed this with the 'Custom - Asphalt' variant. I don't suggest them to become weapons-grade strong, but they could at least become a little bit sturdier.

Overall a fantastic little toy!! ;)

That's lovely, actually! A tiny little surprise! ;)

The camber angles on the front are reversed, at least with street suspension

they share exactly nothing in common, and in fact Aurata concept has been in line for putting in game for quite a while

While looking through the Aurata’s files, I found that its blinker sounds are „MITS_click” and „MITS_clack”
Being very intelligent and thinking it’s a type of blinker sound, I looked up „MITS Blinker Sound” and the first suggestion was a Mitsubishi Turn Signal sound, that sounds almost exactly like the Aurata.
So I’m guessing MITS stands for „MItsubishi Turn Signal”
Update on this: it just stands for Mitsubishi propably lol, silly me

Is there a reason why the Aurata wheels and tires are limited to Aurata only, and not included in the shared common package?

Yes, stability reasons. We can only decide on making new wheels common if we are 100% sure they won't be causing issues on any other vehicle. The same reason why the enclosed cargo trailer doesn't have universal wheels support.

genuinely curious - what makes the aurata wheels/tyres specifically not stable?

There is never a single reason, it comes down to a variety of combined factors. May be partially due to the wheels being relatively stiff for their weight, or having a specific center offset that is configured to work well only with the Aurata suspension specifically and could be causing issues on other vehicles on certain wheel offset values, or the general distribution of stiffness being finetuned for the wheels to stay strongly attached during dune jumps to the Aurata hubs specifically... Regardless of the cause, unlike most wheels, these were made for this vehicle specifically without having others in mind. And some possible combination of vehicle + wheels + tires + wheel offset at some point in testing could have proven unstable, or maybe it was just done in advance to prevent this possibility.

    Howdy devs
First of all, great job on this thing, it feels really nice with a good tune

Now, why only a CVT? That single factor makes me avoid the Aurata since it was added and my initial testing. A dct or anything else other than the cvt would greatly improve it and would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

(I know there's a million mods for more transmissions, but I like vanilla stuff more because of the stability)

A CVT was almost certainly chosen because that’s what near all these side by sides use IRL as well. There are a few with DCT transmissions but CVTs are significantly more common and offering a SxS with the option between either would be cost prohibitive for the manufacturer, especially because most buyers probably don’t care all too much what transmission their SxS has.

Anyone noticed the front shocks being weird? They don't compress correctly visually
