I need proper spec sheet and Game Optimizing! BeamNG.Drive Recommends GEFORCE GTX 970, 32 GB RAM, and a CPU (4 Core, Hyperthreaded) What i find shocking is that even at these specs, at 1080p Ultra, Beam can't even give a stable 60 FPS with 2 cars, which is bad. Ithink beam should update the specs to something like a RTX 2060 super or RX 6600 XT and The CPU to a Ryzen 5 3600X or Core i5-10500 (get the point.) Other then that, specs are okay EXCEPT Minimum! At minimum, the specs should be a GTX 770 / i7-4790k / 16 GB RAM What do you think? (also the steam page is very outdated.) --- Post updated --- EDIT: Skyfall has uploaded the same stuff regarding Steam Page
The gtx 970 can’t run any other new game at 1080p ultra… even forza horizon can’t run at 60 at extreme. Trust me, I owned one
You realize you're expecting a for-profit company to be 100% honest about their product, right? lol It's only $25. It's Garry's Mod for vehicles. It exists on an old code base and the only way to optimize it is a complete re-write. But why would they do that seeing as how it's currently flying off the shelves because of recent streamers making everyone sit up and take notice? GTA V came out for the Xbox 360 in 2014, and I bought it and played it. A seamless huge open world full of AI traffic and AI people. It's still awesome despite its outdated graphics. Then I bought it for the Xbox One and played it through again. But at the time it was a triple A $60 title. People are still playing it and modding it on the PC. There's no way that BeamNG.drive will ever be able to compete with triple A titles using its current code base. So it's really just for hobbyists. But it's very open to mods and such so it's better than having some development studio that won't let you change things. As I've stated in these forums before, probably the only way that BeamNG can get the capital needed to do a total rewrite is if they sell it off to some big dev studio who will rewrite it and port it and then charge $60 a pop (got to undercut the 70 dollar triple A price point a little). But that would be the death of BeamNG.drive as we know it.
