Glad to know this mod is mostly done and almost coming to the repo! It will be a nice addition to the game, and fill the eastern block vehicle bit very well!
Not sure if its been done already but something i though would be a good addition is a twin cam swap from the miramar, since irl ive seen a lot of ladas with fiat twin cam motors.
Twin Cam means the same as DOHC so just dual cams and the Fiat Twin Cam is a engine that was very common in fiat group cars from the 60s all the way to the late 90s and was used in cars like the Lancia 037, Delta's, Fiat 131 and a lot more.
Oh, ok. --- Post updated --- My theory is that I think this guy is going to release it on Halloween, so it's released on a holiday.
I've seen a bunch of them on "classic" lada base, on Samara base (old and new versions) and one time on Granta, but never on Niva, despite it being the most logical option to put cargo upfit on. P.S. VIS on longer Niva looks so goofy, why did they keep rear seats section? Cargo space looks so ridiculously tiny, compared to the rest of the car.
i saw one video it was about a review of a TAZ pack and the Baikal had a preview of a seal so is it fixed ?
Wdym fixed lmao. Why is everyone taking it as a bug? It was intended that way. The picture was of a Baikal seal. It was there for a reason. I had it as a placeholder thumbnail until the repo release version.
My opinion is that I think this guy is going to release this on Halloween, so its on a holiday. I didn't know there was so many configs! This mod is going to be so cool!
I think that the wheels need to be positioned wider (the photo shows an approximate position, which I think is beautiful)
I want it already, but I can't trust the internet with my money at all. That's why i'm not paying for early access.
In a roundabout way that actually did happen. FSO Polonez a car that was also based on a licensed Fiat platform had 1994 gotten wider wheel placement. It was done by the manufacturer in-house. So TAZ could as well did the same in some modernization/facelift. It is up to @RyanCookie if he will do it or not.
