In theory i dont have any car, in practice i have toyota corolla ix e12 kombi, but i dont drive it cause its complicated to get driver license in poland
I always thought the Eagles were so cool, especially the wagons and the 3 door ones. Is it your daily?
Oh my gosh, I love it! I had the chance to by an otherwise identical burgundy 1991 model, but I passed. I’ve always regretted that decision.
No, my Corolla is my daily driver. The Eagle will become my daily-driven vehicle once I'm done making it roadworthy.
2011 CrownVic here, awesome car and my daily driver throughout the year: the other is a 1971 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr HT
Damn, you are living the dream! That's so awesome! I love the color, too. I prefer the 1974-1978 'Formal' Chrysler C-body cars, but the 'Fuselage' style is also sweet. I also love the fact it's a 4-door and not a 2-door.
Awesome car & color, nothing screams 70's more than a New Yorker in pea metallic green with a green interior. Chrysler really struck gold when they styled & created these Fuselage C-bodies. --- Post updated --- Nice, I'd highly recommend these cars if you ever find one for sale again that isn't neglected or rusted out.
exactly, and the 440 V8 together with the TF727 3-speed automatic and a slightly modified exhaust pipe just sounds and drives so nicely some minor parts to fix, nothing serious second that, they are not getting cheaper
I've owned a bunch of cars over the years Rover 25 1.4 - my first car and great fun to drive. Was base spec with wind down windows and steel wheels (which wasn't so fun) Rust killed it in the end. MG ZT 1.8 - Nice car, and an even nicer colour (ignition blue) but could've had more power. 118hp in a car that heavy wasn't enough. Sold to a bloke in Manchester. Volvo 480 ES 2.0i - My favourite car to date. Loads of 80s tech and a hoot to drive. Gets lots of attention & compliments. Still have this one and probably won't ever sell it. VW Golf Mk3 2.8 VR6 - Handled like a pig wearing lead boots. Had a purple leather interior. Sold to a dealer who came down from Preston. Cadillac BLS Wagon 2.8 V6 - Basically a Saab 9-3 with a Cadillac badge. Drank fuel and I felt like a right knob every time I told someone I drove a Cadillac. (Cadillac is a very foreign and unknown brand in the UK. Most people assumed I drove around in a 50s tailfin thing.) Also the road tax on it was enormous. Sold to webuyanycar (I couldn't find any buyer for that hateful thing) Vauxhall Vectra SRi 3.0 V6 Diesel - Great load lugger, but very dull to drive. Previous owner lied about doing the cambelt and it snapped on me when I was doing 70 mph on my way to Cornwall. Not fun. Sold to a breakers yard as the engine was toast. Chrysler 300C 3.0 V6 Diesel - Looks badass & feel like I'm on The Sopranos driving it. Interior is incredibly cheap and nasty though, which ruins the luxury feel.
heres my opinion on each car if anybody cares, rover, thats really cool and i just found out its a rebadged civic thats cool, mg, thats pretty cool didnt know it existed but it kinda looks like a jaguar, volvo, wow had no idea that existed but thats really cool especially the pop up head lights and because its a volvo it will probably last forever, vw, honestly this is my least favorite car on the list because i just dont like vw's in general, cadillac, that is awesome i wish we got that in the US but unfortunately we only got the more sporty cts and cts-v vauxhall, thats cool, nice plain sedan, looks like a saturn and a skoda had a baby, chrysler, a cheap american luxury version of the charger, although i have a question was it the wagon or the sedan because i wish the US got the wagon version, like we got the magnum,
For the UK market, the Dodge Magnum was sold as a Chrysler 300 Wagon or ‘tourer’ & the Vauxhall looks like a Saturn because it’s rebadged Saturn Aura. The Rover 25 is a little complicated as it’s not really a rebadged Civic, but is based on an old shortened Civc chassis with suspension elements from old Austin’s and a Rover engine. It’s a real parts bin special in that regard.
Reliability issues are down to the complex electrical systems along with water ingress and condensation problems. The Renault engines are all low stress cast iron block 8-valve units and are pretty durable actually.
