Grid Map missing materials, Plain grid map is a black void

The Grid Map is all ground grid material. All of the objects are groundgrid, as well as outside the wall.

The plain, simple Grid Map is just a black void

I am in the experimental version, everything is on the lowest setting

I may have accidentally edited one of the materials, but last time that happened i just deleted a recently edited file in the gridmap folder and it was fine. I've already tried running the cleanup bat file but that didn't change anything.

The Maps work fine in alpha, just not experimental

here are some basic things to try:

1. change to higher settings

2. delete the whole cache

3. reinstall

also, can you post some images? that would help.
