I recall hearing that the T-series was incorrectly proportioned (among the many other features they weren't able to simulate at the time), so it'd make sense that they would do a ground-up remaster. --- Post updated --- A few random details: There's 2 different sizes of fuel tanks: Only 2x4 and 4x6 trucks shown (no 2x6 or dead axles, or at least not yet) Some of the long frames have mounts in different locations: No material mudflaps
ᵗʰᵃᵗˢ ʷʰᵃᵗ ˢʰᵉ ˢᵃⁱᵈ I mean I wonder if we will be getting more flatbeds or the official ability to load containers on the T-series
Based on the frame mounts noticed by others a cabover is likely, but I just thought I'd point out that tanks under the cab are fairly common, especially on vocational trucks. They just add a couple steps bolted to the tank straps.
Yeah, that is a possibility as like, an additional couple parts for the T-Series (maybe as a replacement for the steps on the regular-cab T's?). It just didn't cross my mind at the time I made that post.
I'm very happy to see walking leaf style suspension, that will make rough roads much easier to navigate, especially with an empty truck. I am kinda surprised (and maybe a little disappointment) by the lack of set back axles in any of those configurations. Based on the dayton style wheels the devs are probably going for an older generation of trucks, and SBA trucks weren't very common until the 90s, but they definitely still existed before then.
What tha difference with the trucks on the two bottom rows of the new teaser I just can’t figure it out cheers?
I doubt we'll see T-Series in the next update. I know they've been working on it long before this teaser, and the teaser itself might not be up-tp-date, but I feel like it'll take some more time
I think I've figured out some of what we're seeing in these chassis variants, primarily, the horizontal order shows the cab configuration. I came to this conclusion with the cab-overs, because the cab mounts are visible on the chassis. as for the conventionals, i've left an equal amount of space for the upfit/trailer clearance, and they seem to be the appropriate size. it also should be mentioned that while the red and yellow conventional chassis have no cab mounts visible, all of the blue conventionals have them shown (for the day cab only), though it's possible this is just an oversight with the flexbodies not being assigned yet, being still heavily in development. of course, this also suggests that there are going to be two sleeper cab variants for each bodystyle, with the existing in-game one being the smaller variant. alternatively with the conventionals, the 6x4 semi (second from the top) marked in red is the equivalent to the current T75 chassis, which is capable of holding a sleeper, so perhaps the yellow/blue variants' respective sleepers are even larger than i've shown. I'm also still unsure as to why there are two slightly differing lengths for the upfit chassis. could it be reserving extra space for a flatbed mounted crane?
I think you're spot on with that. Notice how all of the daycab cabovers have smaller tanks (as mentioned somewhere above) but the sleeper cabovers don't, which makes sense because you won't be travelling nearly as far in a daycab as in a sleeper. But then, interestingly, the daycab and sleeper of the conventional cab all have the same tank, so not sure on that one. Also, does anyone think we'll see an official version of the Johnson Valley racing trailer? I know somebody made a paid one, but an official version would be nice. Same for the Johnson Valley motorhomes and camping trailer.
