another thing im been thinking about, i hope that the new frames (hopefully new engine(s)) will allow jake braking aswell, loud, quiet etc, its part of semi truck culture to have the tunes of the engines come out of the exhaust pipes when possible..
That luxurious dashboard could very well be part of the more expensive, top-drawer versions of the T-Series. The more basic slab-styled dash as we now know it is more appropriate for the basic versions, with a day cab and steel wheels.
I was looking forward to a teaser! Hopefully the developers choose to do a 'Teaser Thursday', or, God forbid, a 'Weezer Wednesday'!
They can still compress it if the game gets too big; the official content is just stored: while mods are often half the size or less:
I'm waiting for a batch file that goes over all zips in BeamNG.drive directory and repacks zips into better compressed ones. I mean... Spoiler: More technical stuff If you use 7zip, this setup will work just fine with Beam:
I think I am late to party here, but saw a screenshot of a lot of the semi trucks. A remaster would be great! Not many people speculate on World Editor additions. Dont think they tease that stuff.
Don't forget! Steam Nominations are open! If you desire, we can show our support to the lovely developers of BeamNG with our nomination of Labor of Love! To stay on topic as speculation, I speculate BeamNG will keep getting updated
Do you guys think the current T-Series frames might be replaced or kept as is when the official remaster happens?
There are T-Series frames in the teaser just like what is currently in the game. They'll be replaced by an improved version.
I would imagine much like every remaster so far, the new will replace the old. Now that being said I’m sure we’ll still have the same variants like the box truck and dump truck, but with more aswell.
Unless… I copy the dae of the frames and then rename them so they don’t overwrite the new ones and then I can use the old ones with the new ones in my mod. (Smart Moment)
