So I'm having an issue where then I use two separate pbr textures, they don't actually blend together. Instead they just end in harsh squares. I don't have any micro or detail textures. Any help would be appreciated.
I think the issue might be in the question. You don't have any micro or detail textures... Ideally, you use the same base texture for all your textures, this is the full image of your whole map. Then you use the macro and the detail to create what the user sees if they are closer, and really close. These blend in, overlapping each other and the base texture, which creates a better merge. Check out some of the many youtube vids on PBR textures, but without detail or macro, you can either have the same image for all, or blocks. No other options.
