Xbox 360 Controller not working

I've read most of the posts here and the wiki and I still can't figure this out. When I go into the debug menu when I first start the game it doesn't even search for a controller like the wiki says, and I have installed the drivers and this controller does work.

 

States right there in your screenshot that it created a gamepad0 device.

Anyway, is this an official controller or 3rd party?

 

Mine does the same thing, it will show that gamepad0 thing too and it just will not work. The controller Im using is third party btw.
