Update Speculation thread

A fully electric brand would be great, since we have no such brand in BeamNG. And it would also be the source of the sarcastic EV-to-ICE swaps we see some madmen doing to Teslas!

It would make sense to release on the 22nd, even though the lack of teasers. We don't know how long the devs have been working on this update before they started sending teasers, and judjing by the T-Series not having openable, shifter, or any new parts given to it for a long time, I think the devs have worked on this update for a long time

 

I had the same thing with the Aurata before. I saw it was scraps, making me thinking it was not ready yet for 0.30.
And I was wrong.

 

The T-series is really outdated, glad to see it getting a remaster.

 

they usually tease progress that is quite far behind the real-time progress of the newest addition

 

For 0.30 the creators were given the update 2 days before release so.

BBQ on Christmas? You can do that?

 

All depends on where you live lol. In NC I wouldn't put it beneath us to have some BBQ on Christmas!

 

I know Aussies do it because they have Christmas during summer

By Christmas here we have over a foot of snow and its like 17 degrees max

 

By Christmas we used to have 2 feet of snow but now, we only get a few centimeters. Global warming is real…

 

i haven't gotten snow on christmas for like 6 years
now it's just depressing rain

 

I live on the Atlantic coast of France, which doesn't really help me have snow.

 

This talk about snow makes me think there might be a snowplow for maximum destruction, like ram plow but it doesn't throw cars, it takes cars with it

 

And missions to clear snow from the road. Or mud.
I want to see BeamNG add ice map, only to slide along the ice lakes with the truck and the trailer.

Yep, Christmas hasn't exactly been full of snow over the last 15+ years here in Greece. We've still got plenty of sun!

Now, back to speculation: I'm really pumped up to see the new parts and configurations to come with the 0.31! Plus, I'd love to see what the remastered Gavril TCX 10.6 can do on the pure performance front and how much it can take!

I was thinking...

So it's basically confirmed that we have some big updates the the laborer branch of career mode that involves delivery missions.

We just got 2 new trailers, and we are getting the T-Series remaster and at least one more trailer.

What else could we see?

• A medium duty truck is highly requested, would fill even more highly requested empty unique niches, and could reuse a lot of parts already in game
• A flat load floor for the Stambecco would allow it to be a lot more useful for cargo hauling
• Some smaller trailers for lighter vehicles like the Hopper and Charro would be great, especially for some off road missions where a little off roader would be a better choice than a big highway truck
