Hey! Thank you very much for the time you spent improving the mod, It's awesome! The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the power of the twin turbo, I wanted to have something realistic (somewhere around 1200hp) but 3000hp is very powerful it's not very fun to drive imo
UGR made a 3000 hp TT Gallardo, so 3000 hp is actually realistic tho. Also as you know the boost in the TT is adjustable, so you can put your boost level at whichever you like, from 1000 hp to 3000 hp. 3000 hp is only possible with race block tho.
Damn what a monster of a car, then I guess we should change the default value of the boost to have something like 1500hp and have the ultrarace variant use a 1200hp or something Only the twin turbo red one should have close to the max I like people to be able to get more powerful vehicles throughout customization, people love to do that --- Post updated --- Oh also I noticed the clutch slips when the engine is too powerful
Also just saw the Gallardo mod rn has only 50 liters of fuel while IRL Gallardo has 80 liters of fuel in size on average. Went through the parts list in game and noticed that the front diff doesn't have an adjustable final drive unlike the rear race diff. (Hint Put the rear diff's final drive slot into the front race diff's but change the "R" into "F" so it would work)
Guys unpack your mod and replace the jbeam file with these ones. The front suspension has a final drive ratio. The rear is just a rename which is optional. The simple rename is from axle gear ratio to front/rear final drive. Don't use the single clutch transmission with 3000hp as it slips a lot.
Ye I feel like the flywheel weight itself has a huge effect on whenever the clutch is slipping on high power. We need different flywheel weights for different applications tbh. --- Post updated --- See "Edit 1 Changelog (Aug 28 2023)" for the new stuff I added, @jojos38 plz replace the original post's ZIP with the current ZIP I have in my post quoted.
Thank you so much for all the work on the mod, I added the new update I thought these 1200hp seemed crazy powerful until I saw this video Gidi's Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo TT X Version @dragy acceleration from 0-408 km/h - YouTube
I could find a way to at least have some sort of customisability on clutch/flywheel weight on the SCT as it is more realistic than the semi auto. Edit: I was not experienced enough to do that but I did some re-organising of the variables just to make it more easier. Also I adjusted the gearbox whine on the race transmissions and adjusted the center diff to make it more front-biased if you are a monster. This is optional but it is welcome to put in a newer, larger update than this.
@jojos38 Can I please use the Gallardo's startup motor sound loop for my Civetta Scintilla 5.7L V10 engine's next update? (It is on the forums not the repo). It will also feature a new engine model update (using Scintilla's base bottom end model with Vivace heads and improved intake manifold model, with a rear-mounted dual enlarged throttle bodies).
@jojos38 I wonder if I should add openables for the Gallardo with Bolide-based openable JBeam? Might take time for me to get them working if you approve it.
Hey, it's a community project you can add whatever you want and then I can add it there while crediting you
Turns out it is quite a lot harder than I expected since it uses rather outdated JBeam with a jammed up format (especially the body itself and the doors as well), some good news is that the manual shifter is individual as a mesh (as I checked in blender) so there might be a solid chance that I could get the manual shifter working. Also wide body Liberty Walk might get JBeam as well. Spoiler: Est release date so wen relezers would not open their lips on the release date This month or year if my coursework doesn't make me lose my mind
Alright I tried putting openable parts (the hood, tailgate, doors) in the Gallardo, I even adjusted the beams of the door detents from the fi2rr to f2rr, the doors are simply flying around, might need some help with them. Windshield and all window slots are working fine though.
I love the mod but I hope you create the first generation Gallardo as well I like the boxy design of it. :>
Hi, thank you! I'm sorry I don't do modding for BeamNG.drive anymore, it was a lot of fun for sure but I wanted to move on and try other projects. Maybe someday I'll go back into something on BeamNG.drive but not for now
Hey, so I noticed a bit of an issue with mine, being that the textures don't show up. Both the exterior and interior have this problem. I've searched for the files mentioned, but haven't found anything. Can someone help?
