I like it, but I think my game performs worse.. again.. seems to be a common theme with updates now until vulkan is complete lol
Yes I am aware but CA did a stupid and prevented all CMV's that don't have a DEF system or meet modern CMV regulations to NOT allow a normal registration but ONLY allow a Classic plate and will not allow the Clean idle sticker which will automatically prevent out of state vehicles from being legal in CA.
On the other hand, the video will be in French, and I don't think there will be an English subtitle, but he gives a lot of detail. His video should be between 30 mins and 1 hour
Looks so good! Definitely took heavy inspiration from the 80s International Transtar II... Also, does anyone know how to couple a trailer to the fifth wheel? I'm a bit confused on that.
It's still the same, I think we just forget that the 200BX isn't a 200SX, the proportion are quite different when you actually look at it (I'm 100% guilty of thinking it's a 200SX when I play)
I don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet, but HUGE NEWS: Need I say more? Full credit to MuYe for finding it. I'd say we're getting a Cherrier (Renault) or Autobello (Iveco) branded truck, unless the bring back another old brand from Rigs of Rods (like a Volvo-inspired brand). Also, this could hint to another 0.24 situation. We don't know enough to confirm this though, only time will tell. It would be weird for them to stagger such an update though, and would make most sense if the were to work on both the US and EU truck simultaneously. So stay tuned, I guess --- Post updated --- Oh, and did they stabilize vehicles/improve aero or something? Because I don't spin out off of a cliff (as often) as I used to in my V24 Bolide anymore. Perhaps I just fixed my skill issue though.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a much smaller update with stuff like this cement mixer and other smaller things later this month
About the cement mixer... This is a US spec mixer upfit: This is an EU spec mixer upfit: And this is a WIP image of the one we're getting HMMMMMM.... --- Post updated --- I forgot about ETK. That would make sense as well as an Actros.
If anything it would be Autobello with them already having a presence in the heavy vehicles. It is most likely that they are only doing this to make room for a EU or Asian semi in the distant future.
Also, Italy is the biggest European (and general) map we have. If you go to Italy in real life, more than 50% of trucks you see would probably be Ivecos (from experience)
If it is, it'll probably be coming next Monday or Tuesday. Still gives them enough time to fix some bugs before the 21st. That cement mixer upfit will probably be for the longer variants of the T-Series, although I could be wrong. Here's an image of the old T-Series cement mixer that I got from the 0.4.1 devblog (holy fuck, the game looks ancient in this image).
Look at the subtle features, such as those metal rings on the side of the EU truck (I don't know what they're called) Most if not all European mixers have this. I couldn't find a single American truck with them. Could be an oversight, but BeamNG is the kind of game to take such small details into consideration
Hmmm...a'ight. I don't think a Euro truck will be coming for a bit, but this (and the T-Series's renaming as the "us_semi" instead of just "semi") does point quite strongly towards a Euro semi being added to the game. If that's the case...that would be ballin. The only problem I see with all this trucking content is that we don't really have the maps to fully utilize them. Sure, the tiny cab-over T-Series is great for going around ports, Italy's quite large, and WCA's getting gradually larger and more detailed with each update to it, but we don't have the massive maps that make ETS2 and ATS fun to play for trucking.
