WIP Gavril T-Series Parts Add-On (HUGE Remaster Near Temporary Completion Stage)

By any chance is there anyone good with inputmaps, lua and controller Jbeams?

The trailer now has working maintenance lights (click shift + n)
can also be towed by the fifth wheel
NOTE: The trailer is very top-heavy and can tip over when making sharp turns.

 

End Dump Trailer is now 70% Complete.
Remaining Components Needed:
Hydraulics and Tailgate Functionality
All else is completed such as the frame, lights and body.

 

Short dump trailers are very tippy IRL, or at least on ETS2, they are, by far, the easiest trailers to tip over.

 

Talk about the added realism am I right? lol

 

Nice progress, but the 0.31 update with remastered T-series is very close to release and unfortunately you'll have to start most of the things you made from scratch to match the new standard.

 

Unless I can make a backup folder and attempt to fix them if need be

Everyone, I am currently in the process of reworking all of the parts in my mod to make it compatible with the new standards

 

It’s a neat thing that they renamed the truck from “semi” to “us_semi” in the files, since you can - in theory - download the old truck and use an old version of this mod (although idk why you would do that)

It's probably to avoid old mods from breaking things. Or, since it's named us_semi, maybe we'll get a european semi next?

 

Speaking of, can anyone by chance tell me where one would be able to download that old t-series zip?

Also the D-Series Addon made by AR162B actually works well with the new update.

 

Ok guys so I know this thread is very old but I'm letting you guys know that I'm working on adding, replacing and reworking some parts to fit alongside the new T-Series.

 

I have not given up yet.

The T-series was sorely missing chicken lights

 

My next mod update will most certainly fill those gaps until a hotfix adds them into the base game.

 

Just created a forward mounted tow hitch, soon I attempted to pull a Wentward DT40L. It needs some work but I'm almost done with it.
EDIT: The T-Series managed to pull it flawlessly with the Wentward having no front/rear brakes.
