I don't understand [Part Config Bug?]...

    I can't change parts on my cars in exp version... HTML/OLD GUI.... on both
    am I the only one, because I can't seem to find any other reports anywhere on bug website/here. or am I blind? :confused::(

    They aren't working due to the change from (not sure) to html. This was stated in the changelog in steam (not sure if here too). It has been discussed a lot but those threads may have been deleted. We should keep one just in case someone decides to post this again.

    So, is there any way to change parts, or we'll have to wait? Some mods are almost unplayable because of this :( (I know experimental version might have bugs) But why did some of the things disappear from the "old" part config window?

    The HTML edition of it has these drop downs.. they default condensed.. so you only see that... ee038c9d34.jpg 9026fc7463.jpg

    So there is no way to change parts? I can get to that new parts config and select the part i want to change but it doesnt actually change it on the vehicle. :confused:

    Yes, you opted into experimental which tends to have the odd broken thing. Right now the parts selector is broken. You can edit the part configuration files (they end in .pc) in the vehicle folder with notepad. To find the name of the slot(part) you want for each slotType (type of part) you have to look in the .jbeam files, with notepad. Or, go back to the stable build.

    I understand that I'd oped for bugs basically.. I just wasn't understanding why no one was saying anything...
    also I do know how to use notepad to make a config thank you very much...
