Man, this mod would've been a fun one to use. Thanks to you impatient people, it now can't be experienced by anyone other than the developers and people who were given the mod to test it. Great going people, great going. Just remember from now on, if you want a mod, BE PATIENT.
As I have already said, the mod wasn’t going to be finished anyway. Progress on the mod had ceased long before we started pointing it out. As I have said, again, our conversation changed nothing about the mod itself.
It did, it canceled said mod. I'm tired of you guys nagging on and on about a mod that is [ON HOLD], so I'll just cancel it. I'm sure I'll get around to working on a better one when I FEEL like it, but right now the constant nagging, and feeling like I'm being forced to work on the mod just demotivates me for everything. You guys are impatient as hell. Don't let me work on things I actually enjoy. Just remember, some of us in the NASCAR BeamNG mod community had to wait FIVE YEARS until a actual NASCAR mod came out. Maybe be a little more patient next time. Who knows, gone opinion might change about me in a few months, look in the credits of a few mods coming out soon.
I love how the blame is getting shifted onto the people who called you out when it was already evident the thing was cancelled months in advance.
It was never canceled it was put on hold. I value my real life racing career, and academic studies more than a BeamNG meshslap/mod. Like I've said before as well, I wasn't happy working on this mod, I wasn't having fun, and then I started feeling pressured to finish it. I've admitted it before, and I will again. I made the mistake of posting a fourm for this mod TOO EARLY. You guys also don't seem to understand someone else is working on a better COT mod, and I don't wanna stomp on their parade.
Moreso, based on previous posts, it was taken over by said person after you decided to drop this one and work on 16 others that I Guarantee will not be finished or put on hold.
2* I am working on 2 concurrent mods as of right now, one of them not even being MY mod, the other being a mod that is close to completion, and will be dropping any day now.

No, it isn't. You weren't working on the mod anyway, then decided to make a big deal out of "cancelling" it to try and shift the blame onto the community instead of yourself. Let's be truly honest here, the mod was cancelled the moment it was put "on hold." Also, I’d like to add that YOU said, multiple times, that you weren’t even the one working on the mod anymore. So saying that this conversation, which occurred after you already said that you handed the mod off to someone else, is the reason makes no sense.

It doesn't matter what his reasons were or who's fault it is that the mod is cancelled, it's HIS decision in the end because it was HIS mod that HE was making. What you guys don't seem to understand is that he can do whatever he wants with the mod with no consequence. He doesn't have to finish the mod, he doesn't have to release a beta, and he can cancel the mod whenever he wants at his beck and call. He is in control of what he does or works on. I've been tracking the progress of this mod almost since the beginning, and yeah he's got a point, once progress slowed down you guys really just could not stop pestering him about it on both here, and the discord server. It was literally constant. I don't know about you guys, but if I was a developer for anything and being pestered almost daily about shit, I'd be pretty demotivated as well. After the thread got put on hold, all conversation should have ended right then and there. We can point fingers all we want and disregard his reasons all day long every day, but in the end it's his decision and his alone. We are NOT entitled to the mod, we did NOT make the mod. If he says there's someone else working on a cot mod, then leave it at that. It's not Pawshore's responsibility anymore. I'm not saying that all the blame is on you guys, there's things Pawshore could have done better which has been discussed already both here and on his server. But we've been past the point where there is absolutely no reason for any conversation to take place in this thread. Right now it's best to just let this thread die out instead of practically bullying the creator because he decided not to work on the mod anymore. This thread should have died out when it was put on hold.
It was already pretty evident the thing was cancelled the moment it was put on hold, same story for the Gen 4 that was once being worked on and was shot dead in the water.
