BSOD - DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

This error only happens when playing BeamNG in Vulkan.
After driving around for a while or opening the world editor a few times (which I do often for screenshots and such), I get the error code found in the title of the thread.
Anybody know what causes this?

(No pictures, hard to screenshot a BSOD)

 

Are there any drivers you have recently updated that you know of? I had this happen once, and it happened right after I updated my graphics driver and started playing a game...
Also, what are your specs?

 

GTX 1080, Ryzen 7 2700 i think, 32 gb of ram
Not my PC, it's my dad's and I don't know too much about it other than the very basics.
He did a fresh re-install a couple weeks ago, and the only thing I updated was the graphics driver, and I did that to fix the issue.

 

Is it still happening? Id try DDU to uninstall the driver and use SDIO to reinstall it since that shows the best driver to use for all hardware

OT: Yes, I had this problem as well, and DDU and SDIO worked wonders.

What OS are you using?

 

Back only after an eternity. Beamng support has been so busy. I appealed it as soon as it happened and I only now got a response. Still thankful that I was unbanned.


Ot: I have SDIO in my Computer Toolbox. It works great for vintage PCs as it still supports XP and 2000

Don't wanna do anything driver related since my father is worried about his PC and doesn't want me fiddling with it.

 

iirc this used to happen a lot due to Intel drivers. Maybe check those are good if you have some Intel hardware.
