How's this for realistic deformation? .67 deformation resistance, 40 mph, slight frontal overlap, 16x slow mo.
yea ive noticed this thing is really strong for a flimsy 60s eco car, supposedly the weight should be a lot lower as well from specs ive found, also somethign almost looks off with the wheels/tires to me for some reason. in general because im a weirdo theres a lot of realism aspects that *bug* me --- Post updated --- but ofc jbeaming is a tedious nightmare and a lot of other real car mods struggle with it as well --- Post updated --- around 60mph test almost resulted in something resembling a newer car, almost no damage beyond the front fenders --- Post updated --- updated my addon again with a 2100 crate motor based off an unfinished autobello mod i made, feel free to add this to the official mod if you want --- Post updated --- also higher herbie engine max rpm so he doesent overrev easily when --- Post updated --- crash at 160 and..... wow....... almost no damage :skull:
well the herby was intended to be strong as he also had self healing features. That can remain but for the factory beetles we need a weaker body and frame the best solution would be to give them seperate bodys in the part selector that would be just copy paste.
VW 1200 “Spar Käfer” – Oktober 1965 | ruylclassics also --- Post updated --- ofc but even before healing he had almost no damage
ye because the beam regenerator couldnt handle to much damage so it would bug out if the damage gets to sever ( if i remember right)
ok sorry for taking a damn year to respond. Beamng wont allow me to send the .pc file --- Post updated --- ok nevermind i found out here.
With the update of the rusty skin, that car should deform like a crumbling cookie. Especially if the "a and b" pillars are rotten out. Any one who has restored a bug knows how much of a pain they are to fix.
3 words to describe: BEST MOD EVER the detail is just outstanding the one thing is the camera could be a little closer
