Cancelled Engine Sounds Remastered

well you need to go inside the mod you wanna replace the sounds of, then go inside the engine jbeam and replace the "soundconfig" samples with the names of the samples from my mod that you wanna use.

 

What of those are the I4 1.8 Pessima Sounds?

 

Go to remastered_engine_sounds_[version]/vehicles/pessima/pessima_engine_sohc.jbeam (or just pessima_engine)
Then, find the line with “soundConfig” and “soundConfigExhaust”. After both, there should be “sampleName”:”[name]”.
This name is the folder you’re looking for.

 

fair warning though, not all soundconfigs have their own folders, because the folders only contain the sound files themselves. sometimes i combine them. and besides all you need to do is replace the soundconfig lines in the engine jbeam of the mod you wanna replace the sounds of, so its a simple copy paste.

I do, yes. I can't remember it now, but I'll post (or DM) it later. I won't be able to get you the sounds immediately, though, because the engine does not run well. If you want the sound of a beat-up engine. I have that right now. Once it's fixed, I'll get them to you ASAP.

The cars sound great! It would be cool to have some remastered engines for like the d-series v8's or like the old muscle cars.
