no new brands is certainly a bad thing but 50 more cars to pulverize in beyond fatal crashes sounds pretty fucking good to me
I speculate that the person that was supposed to have a look at mods and approve them on the repo has become sick, so we likely will get those approvals next week. Should my speculation be correct, I wish the person in question a speedy and full recovery.
Dude’s getting messages from the BeamNG gods in his dreams The last time someone got messages in their dreams Joan of Arc retook Orleans
in the means of speculation here are some things i hope for in the next couple updates 1. a modern american full sized pickup would be sweet 2. water splashing sounds when you hit pools of water etc.. 3. a small econobox from the mid 2000s like a toyota yaris 4. for them to keep expanding west coast 5. release career mode and get rid of the many bugs 6. and lastly, proper construction equipment, something like a bulldozer or an excavator
They didn’t say anything about January 4th of this year. Just Jan the 4th so in theory they can start approving mods on 4.01.25, .26 or even .50
So I just had this shower thought: what if there were dynamic non-road AI traffic vehicles in BeamNG? Things like trains and ships would add a lot to maps like WCUSA in terms of immersion, whether it be in the background as set dressing or as a part of a mission. Considering WCUSA was recently updated to have a cargo terminal, natural gas terminal, and more details added to the Belasco City Metro, I don't think this idea is too far-fetched. We could even see cable cars finally run up and down the hills of Belasco. My imagining was that these traffic vehicles would be dynamic in the sense that you could derail a train by ramming a car into it or capsize a small ship by dropping a T-Series onto it, but their AI would be static in the sense that they would follow a single predetermined path as logic would dictate for a train on tracks or a ship in a harbor. Also, they would have an extremely simple jbeam in order to preserve performance. This line of thinking eventually led to me imagining car ferries being a real vehicle and not just a static prop, though I don't know who would want to go through the hassle of using a ferry in real time in a game.
I just want some map that has some nice spectacular scenery and its raining, driving a nice car while watching everything pass-by. its what I live for.
