how to fix cheese engine textures?

i tried utilizing the stock beam v8 engine model in another chassis but its all yellow? it uses the same material mapping and is in the same common folder location as the normal gavril v8s. any suggestions?

 

clear cache?

 

still stays yellow. every so often it works fine. seems to depend on the map for some reason.
