Coil over shocks - Bounded Beam?

    Not asking how, just am I on the right track. Have not done much along the lines of springs.

    Bounded being the ones that can have the forces applied after long bound or short bound limits are reached. If I understand it correctly.

    Yes, on the right track. Bounded beam type is sort of needed for a shock so you can use the advanced properties. While you don't have to, you could also integrate the spring value and compression/extension limits with longBound and short bound, all into one beam. This makes sense for a simple coilover, but for something more complex, like a strut, you probably wouldn't combine them all.
