As the title suggest the maps are still WIP, any bugs or weird textures will be fixed with the full release. The main goal now is just to make the map drive good, and feel right
Don't know, got a pretty good PC, I got 8GB RAM, wouldn't think that this is an issue, as I played maps like Los Injurus steady at 60 FPS
whenever i try to play a map (ive tried stage 7 and 3 so far) my fps drop to 1 and all the assets dont even spawn in, ive waited up to 15min without anything happening/changing. i have a decent pc (12700kf, 6900xt, 32gb ram) so im pretty sure it should be able to handle about any map that you throw at it performance wise. does anyone know what could be causing that issue?
8gb Ram should work, although the minimum recommendation is 16gb. I haven't tried with lower than 16gb. There should be a crash log, you'll probably find some hints towards what's causing the problem
Map is great! Especially SS7, I believe SS1 has some sticky trees but I could just have an old version. While I for some reason hasn't tested SS3 yet I'll make shure to do that, best off luck on the project they're in my opinion some of the best rally tracks I've tested in Beamng!
Progress update after a long wait - Stage 8, Lindland is almost finished, and I finally feel like it's good enough to share - Currently optimizing maps to have 60fps on Normal graphic settings and 2k res on a 3060, (or 60fps on ultra and 1080p) - Also working with road edges so that it will be easier to see where the edges are
Stage 8 is now released, plus stage 3, and 7 are updated with the newest version where the biggest changes are optimization and not as extremely vibrant colours
In order to make the roads fit I unfortunately had to. I still made them as small as possible so that the maps could have detail.

the update made it so that using nordic characters in file names breaks the map. i am currently working on fixing this while also finishing up a new map
